Optimizing IT Procurement Operations for Bennett Coleman & Co Ltd. – Summer Internship 2016, SJMSOM

  • As part of Summer Internship project, worked with the IT infrastructure procurement wing in BCCL.
  • Modelled a product catalogue in VBA for raising request for purchase of IT equipment.
  • Worked on improving the procurement efficiency by optimizing vendor contracts
  • Analyzed past 5 years IT purchases data to identify the High Value Low Frequency and Low Value High Frequency purchases.

Optimizing manpower distribution & process improvements for Johnson & Johnson plant, Mumbai – Live Project 2016

  • Performed a Time & Motion study to understand the process flow and time taken at each stage of the bottling operations
  • Optimized manpower distribution at various stages in the process flows.
  • Recommended improvements in the cleaning process which lead to intermittent stoppage of the high speed bottling lines.
